Funds from the Russell Haldane Trust helped us to repair damage following extreme flooding.
The bridge, decking and pond dipping platform at the end of the Paddock were completely destroyed by floodwater in Feb 2020. The Bridge has now been rebuilt and the boardwalk area leveled and turfed, and the dipping platform and pond was removed to allow water to flow more freely.
The entrance to the paddock also sustained damage with floodwater ripping up the gravel grid mesh flooring. This has been replaced with a full concrete pad to withstand the the floodwater.
Work is ongoing on the Refuse and Recycling area.
